I had the privilege of visiting the Women, Gender, and Sexuality department at Thammasat University in Thailand, where I delivered a lecture titled 'The Politics of Gender and Sexual Diversity in Africa'. This department hosts the first and only interdisciplinary program in the ASEAN region dedicated to gender and sexuality studies, making it an essential space for critical discussions and academic inquiry.
